Above Waterline

With aluminium offering high strength to weight ratio and incredible flexibility in design it makes it a very suitable material for constructing boats. Although aluminium can be left untreated above the waterline due to its natural corrosion resistance it is often desirable to refinish the surface.

The marine paints offered in this section are single pack alkyds which are easy to apply with roller or brush and adhere well to the surface. As the marine environment is fully exposed to the elements our alkyds offer good weather resistance and gloss stability. Although the marine paint primers in this section can be left as finish coats they are generally over coated with one of our ‘Single Pack Topcoats’ for improved aesthetic appearance.
